You cannot escape the impression that this urge to systematize, indulged in at every occasion, durkhwim done only for the sake of appearing rigorous while not really being so at a closer look. See for example the idea that exchange value separates the commodity from its use value. I am also not very convinced by some of the interpretations Morrison makes, to put it mildly.

If you have to learn from this textbook, rather than suffer through Morrison’s lack of editing and clarity, poor grammar, spelling mistakes, and needless repetition, consult the Glossary of Terms in the back of the book for more concise though still copy-pasted from the unceasingly redundant body of the text explanations marz concepts and theories.
