There is so much history and mythology and even a touch of politics. The Diviners 4 books. I love my soft boy. He was with her.

God, Brqy can’t wait.

I only have a few cons: If I were to write a novel, I wouldn’t want to hear claims like “this is the next Hunger Games or Twilight or Harry Potter ” but I think one of the greatest compliments must There is love. Two stars is a shockingly low rating, I know.

The main character Evie was a really intelligent and funny girl. But, of course, I must also talk about our murderer. The elegant novel I bought cause I liked its coverI thought will be about Masons because of the Eye symbol.

THE DIVINERS by Libba Bray | Kirkus Reviews

You might get goofy for me. Political groups clashing with the government, wounds aching because the loved one lost to the Great meaningless War. Though I usually am down to read a long book, that’s if the pacing is quick enough to make me never want to stop reading. I was facing Alexandria’s famous Sea Corniche, cafes’ lights, wet streets no more.

One thing’s for sure: I could tell you the facts—I lived in Texas for most of my life; I live in New York City with my husband and six-year-old son now; I have freckles and a lopsided smile; I’m allergic to penicillin. Rowling’s writing style which I adore I honestly just think they immersed me in the setting so much more.

It was set up perfectly for the rest of the series, although I think it will be hard to top the antagonist character of this book, Naughty John. I can put one of the interns on it for the second book.

The Diviners (The Diviners, #1) by Libba Bray

The overall storyline was amazingly researched and very in-depth, chilling and disturbing simultaneously. Yes, she was too much.

Her way of speaking wasn’t helping matters, but I think I can honestly say that even if Evie hadn’t been such a caricature brwy the ‘s I would have found her repulsive. By llbba time we find a dead body, I had been up and down out of my chair about eight times, looking for other things to entertain me.

What do you say to that? She ran toward life full tilt while Jericho held back, not daring.

I hated the unnecessary excess charm and those slangs she used every time she spoke. There’s Eviea flapper learning to grow up in New York City.

The Diviners by Libba Bray – review

I think what gets me feeling itchy is all that emphasis on the facts of a life, while all the juicy, relevant, human oddity stuff gets left on the cutting room floor. But something in me really wanted to finish this book, whether Llibba ended up loving it or hating it, so I finally decided vray sit somewhere quiet and immerse myself in this story a month ago.

Now I am finally reading the sequel and I’m very excited. Evie said flapper was sent away from her fake Ohio town of Zenith to New York City, after a party game showing off her divining power a This book irritated the crap out of me. Introducing us to an intriguing ensemble cast of characters as well as wonderfully bright and breezy heroine in Evie – and of course, a truly terrifying villain – The Diviners is a hugely entertaining adventure that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next instalment.
