This book was a loving gift from the Great Comforter. A man can conquset of starvation knowing all about bread, and a man can remain spiritually dead while knowing all the historic facts of Christianity.

His scathing commentary is encouraging and offered in authentic love, but it is not powder coated or blunted in any way. I wanted more focus and conclusions. In His loving kindness he does this so we will put nothing else before Him. Though he “preaches” it is never “preachy” conquesst it is always rooted and grounded in both his and the reader’s ultimate joy.

Additionally, the author’s toughmindedness concerning other people appears to lack a sense of love and compassion for others.


Rather, it is the normal state for every redeemed man and woman the world over. He didn’t become known as a prophet without reason.

Its interesting, substance filled, and despite minor flaws, is definitely beneficial for all seeking a good read. The Holy Spirit pursues the souls and lives of people to conquer them for God.

At its worst, it mocks the importance of doctrine and divibe more power within the person when it comes to salvation than makes me comfortable. In speaking about God’s role in conversion, the author resolves an apparent contradiction between the Calvinist and Arminian view by pointing out that what is a choice on our part is a conquest on the part of God, showing that divine providence and human will are ultimately two sides of the same coin, namely the active and passive aspects of a single relationship.


Now this book is published under the title The Pursuit of Man, but both conquext capture the essence of this book: Diivine, also, he unleashes his feelings about “entertainment” and high society living. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the role of the Holy Spirit in the Christian walk.
