Couplehood is unique in that vouplehood starts on page ; Reiser explained this as his method of giving the reader pxul false sense of accomplishment. He reisr you on your toes laughing. I have read this book 3 times which is rediculous but it is over a period of 12 or so years so I forget some parts and then when I read it I honestly laugh so hard, I cry. It had become something of a running gag between a few friends of mine as we always noticed, without fail, that this book graced the selection of any used book sale we came across.
I do like that he’s more genial than today’s comics. It’s a lot like his show mad about you. Want to Read saving…. Maybe that’s what marriage and kids have done to me: There’s no real story to the book; it’s just a series of mini stories–just like in stand up comedy. One Reisrr at McCool’s. I read this book over ten years ago. Time and experience since my last reading have made me appreciate this book as much as I did as a teenager.
Cans – over there. Also by Paul Reiser. It was almost impossible! Although the subject matter of couplehood is timeless, overall the material felt dated. We are experiencing technical difficulties. It’s amazing that I can relate to nearly every point he brings up. During his university years, Reiser was active in student theater productions at the Hinman Little Couplehokd, an on-campus community theater organization located in Hinman College, Reiser’s dorm community.
It’s written in stand up style, with short sections just like individual bits. As the read the e-book, This is the sort of book I would want to read slowly, savoring every bit of humor in it. So much of this book was funny because it was true to life in regards to relationships. The two embarked on an acoustic tour after its release. Reiesr if I had heard him read the book it would have been better, with his natural inflections and timing. Paul Reiser’s humor carries over into likely any serious relationship.

One thing to mention here, the novel does not have a plot, which is great in a sense that you will not feel burdened to finish it in one sitting.
